He is the author of the best-selling book, The Bucket Plan: Protecting and Growing Your Assets for a Worry-Free Retirement. He also wrote Clarity 2 Prosperity: An Advisor’s Guide to Charging Planning Fees for Holistic Planning and co-authored The Hiring Advantage. Jason’s Bucket Plan philosophy inspired a children’s book designed to teach kids responsible spending, saving, and earning principles, Days Can Be Sunny for Bunnies and Money.

With the overriding goal of improving the lives of American families through holistic financial planning, Jason utilizes his experiences as an advisor to train other advisors through live training events, monthly coaching calls and study groups. Jason enjoys spending time with his wife Holly, daughter Jordan, and two sets of twins: Wyatt and Berkeley, and Lincoln and Lennon. In his spare time, Jason and his family are building a hobby farm, farmers’ market, and event center on their 67-acre property in Oberlin, Ohio. Jason also enjoys yoga, strength training, and outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, boating, and 4-wheeling.
The CEP® (Certified Estate Planner™) is a financial, legal, or tax professional who has earned a distinctive educational certification through the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners (NICEP). A CEP® has completed a rigorous eight (8) module course of instruction in the field of estate planning, successfully passed a comprehensive proctored examination process, shown a desire to associate with professional estate planning peers, and agreed to comply with annual estate planning continuing education requirements and ascribed to the practical guidelines and code of ethics of the NICEP.
